'Nothing Was Put in Place to Stop The Growth’, is an art series created in 2012 by Jill Tegan Doherty, and developed as a figment of the artist observation and imagination, blending layers of reality. Twelve years later, the series has been painstakingly recreated with needle and thread. Each piece has been hand embroidered for hundreds of hours by India’s most talented Karigars. Each piece of art is accompanied by an authentically signed silk booklet, wrapped in an organic linen garment bag, and boxed in a luxurious, eco-friendly paper box, honoring artisanship and timelessness at By Told.
